We are looking for a Backend Engineer to adapt our processes and tools to integrate pricing and shipment data, from various 3^rd party sources, into Kailix so shippers can fully manage their air, ocean and road freight shipments.

Responsibilities

• Build a deep understanding of products, carrier landscape, 3^rd party data providers, and business and operational needs
• Normalize data across all sources/data providers as a prerequisite for incorporation into Kailix
• Conceive and develop adapted scalable integrations across several technologies and providers to ingest various structured pricing and shipment data into Kailix
• Own process from situation and requirements reviews with our product team to planning, development, testing and production

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience working with engineers and building software products
• Deep understanding of technology and APIs in particular
• Ability to structure and normalize complex data, of various quality, issued by several 3^rd party providers into tables, charts and workflows
• Understanding of complex cloud-based digital products
• Faculty to conceive adaptable technical solutions to be able to integrate future data too
• Creative thinker, result-oriented, consultative work style
